J. R. Tucker 28 February 2007

When I arrived back home this evening, the trip meter showed 71 miles. I realize that a lot of you traveled several times that far just to get to Centre Alabama and I want to thank everyone that took time and had the dedication to make this mission such a success! We had 18 bikes that made the entire trip to the Cemetery in Rome and a total of 25 members... So much for low turnout on these short notice missions! A job well done PGR!

If there is one thing that will bring a tear to an old soldier's eye it's the heartfelt gratitude of family members after such a moving ceremony as we participated in and witnessed in Rome Georgia today. When I handed the sons the PGR Mission Completed pins that Dinky gave me that gratitude was there for all to see... Rest in Peace J. R. Tucker, and be assured that you have two fine sons that will carry on the outstanding character you gave to this wonderful country of ours. Thank you Sir, until we meet again...
