Chapter #80 Weiss Lake Alabama

What is the Southern Cruisers bunch all about?...  Well the most comprehensive answer to that can be found on the National Website link below, but in a nutshell The Weiss Lake Southern Cruisers is a group of like minded riders from the Cherokee County and surrounding area's that enjoy the friendship and fellowship of other riders...  We are by and large a family oriented group and do everything from little "short" local rides to long weekend camping trips...  We also enjoy attending an occasional Bike Show or weekend Rally!  We do a few fundraiser events every year, but even then we always manage to have our fair share of fun!  Hey isn't that why we all ride these infernal machines?  For the plain fact that it's a lot of fun...  And don't worry about attendance.  Everything we plan and do is optional for our members.

Sound interesting?  Well just follow the links below.  You can see what our Chapter has been up to in the past and some of our plans for the future.  If you feel like you might fit into this group don't hesitate to email us here at SCRC@weislake.com for more info or application.  Or just come by one of our scheduled meetings and meet the group.

Club Forum -  Check out the Delphi forum for our club!  There is no cost to the users, but you will have to sign up to post messages...

Meet our Members - We finally came up with a membership photo page...

National Website - Follow this link to Southern Cruisers National website! - Find a chapter in your area, or start one of your own!

Consider the documents below to be the "fine print" of the SCRC.  Some of then are just links back to the national site, but all members should take the time to read 'em and pay particular attention to the Safety related topics:
Our Constitution - A must read!
Ridin' Rules - Safety Issue - There are 2 distinct groups of 1% Bikers. Those outlaw gangs that everyone is aware of, and then a lesser known group of enthusiasts that know and always utilize the correct group riding procedures.  Everyone should have a copy of and be familiar with these...
Hand Signals - Safety Issue - There are only 10 really important hand signals!  Everyone should know and use them instinctively!
Trademark Info - Yep, Southern Cruisers logo's are copyrighted! Look before you use one of 'em...

Application -  This is a link to our printable Southern Cruisers membership application...  Fill it out and bring it to one of our meetings...  We get together every Tuesday evening somewhere around Centre for an informal gathering.  Check the forum for exact time and location.  This is not a real meeting, but more of a meet, greet and eat!  One thing you'll notice about this bunch is we try not to pass up very many chances to eat!   (If you can't see the application, you will need to install Adobe Acrobat available free HERE, or just come by a meeting and get a form from Teresa)

Our real monthly club meeting falls on the first Tuesday each month.  This meeting location will be announced on our forum and kicks off as close to 6:00 PM as possible. - (Don't let all these meetings and get togethers discourage you from joinin' in on the fun!  Attendance to all these is NOT required!)
