Randy has us a great little spreadsheet already set up to compute your Roadstar RPM~VS~Speed for a lot different variables...  HERE's a screenshot of it in action...  But we have run into a few catches...  If you run it off the web, it will automatically open as a "read only" file and you can't input different variables like tire size or RPM limits...  So here is a quick workaround...

When you click on the link below it will open with your spreadsheet program, I've tested it in both Open Office and Microsoft Excel and it works just fine in the newer versions...  You then need to select File and then Save As...  Save the file somewhere you can get back to easily (I use my Desktop for stuff like this) Once the file is saved locally on your PC it will then no longer be Read Only and you can make changes to the data and see your speed results...

Some readers may find, if they have Excel earlier than 2005 or perhaps some other programs we don't yet know about, that they will not be able to over-ride the selection list with their own input. This will affect only a relatively small number of folks anyway -- only those having the early version AND with auto tires, or chain drive, or Harley pulleys.

So let's try it out...

Don't have a Spreadsheet program?  Did you always want one?...  Here's the best office package on the market and it's FREE!

LINK to Open Office download for Windows...  And yes, it's free to download and use...

If you are a Linux user you already have it installed...

Thanks Randy!...  Great job!...
